When Life Calls You Somewhere

I'm looking out a new window now, and it's refreshing new.

Six months ago, a new journey started and it involved trust and risk. Luckily, I've gotten good at taking risks over the past few decades, and every month I get better and better at trusting my inner self / inner voice. The hardest thing to do is change your life on a "feeling, hunch of inner knowing". And, for me, this intuitive voice is always connected to the voice of spiritual guidance. TRUSTING THIS has been my biggest life lesson.

It's time to leave, said that voice. Pack up, said that voice. Say your good-byes, said that voice. We are going somewhere, said that voice. After a few months of praying and discerning - not knowing what would unfold - I took those steps of trust.

I've been practicing trusting myself for a few decades now; and getting better and better at it every day. 25 years ago, my life changed. Yes, I know life always is changing, but 25 years ago a big change WITHIN made me change the life around me. If the truth be told, I had known for along time that I was needing a change. Sure, it was my health, my relationships, my beliefs, my past, etc. and blah blah blah blah. Truth is, the real change that needed to happen was to trust my inner voice, believe in myself, and filter out ANY noise that doesn't support my greatest good.

Those standards still apply. Years later, after taking those first steps, I'm still taking steps into the life I want to create. Knowing what I want, being in peaceful alignment, putting myself first, and moving forward --- my first steps in any brave adventure.

First stop: visiting for a while with Mary, and the new friends along the way. There always seems to be animal friend to be made, as well.
