What if it is actually all FOR me?

Everything is an opportunity for growing, learning, and becoming. I know this is true, but I am still a backward student.

Often, even just yesterday, I gripe that I do not have the exact life that I think I want.

In spite of the dozens of real life miracles I have known, I still gripe and whine.

In essence, I don't fully trust life all the time. I don't fully believe it is actually on my side. Some part of me thinks that, just because I don't get my way, life is against me. Basically, I am a baby.

I complain openly with God and my ancestors and my Higher Soul Self. As I said to the Universe this morning, "I know it will all work out the BEST way it should, but why can't it work out MY WAY?" AND why can't it work out RIGHT NOW? What am I doing wrong? And on really pity-myself days, I also cry out, "why don't you love me?".

Sooner than later, my complaining stops, especially because I have learned that it simply doesn't help. I get back into the drivers' seat of my mind, and move into the present moment. Because the real truth is ---

All of my complaining is about trying to orchestrate the future.

And the future is not now, or known, or predictible.

Once again, the lesson is always learning

how to simply be.

Sit with what is.

Accept.

See with what is.

Appreciate.

Learn from what is.

Change what I can.

Love the lesson of what is.

Think bigger than my tiny mind thinks.

Be with what is.

Take the medicine.

See what it teaches you.

Trusting the flow of just being, and working with what arrives, is spiritual and emotional mastery. But, Yoda, I am not.

I do know that, however, without a doubt, that the medicine is always good for me; I just need to see it that way.
